I hold many meetings over Zoom / Google Meet / Teams. How does Jump know when to send a notetaker?
Jump knows when to send a notetaker to a virtual meeting based on the scheduled events in your connected calendar(s). Verify the calendars that Jump has access to by going to User settings > Preferences > Calendars > Calendars to sync.
Once connected, if Jump sees a Zoom / Google Meet / Teams link, and you have "Automatically add a notetaker to upcoming meetings" toggled on (setting found under the Calendars to sync field), it will schedule a notetaker to attend that meeting.
If you don't have "Automatically add a notetaker to upcoming meetings" toggled on, you'll have to go to your Upcoming page and manually toggle on the notetaker for meetings you want it to attend.
Note: Connecting your Zoom integration doesn't automatically mean Jump will capture your Zoom meetings.
I do many in-person meetings. How do I capture those and get them into Jump?
If you want Jump to capture in-person meetings, you have a few possible ways to go about it.
You can bring your laptop and use Jump in the web browser to capture the meeting on my.jumpapp.com. Click "New meeting" on the top-right of the main Jump screen, and select "Capture meeting now."
Or, if you have an existing calendar event in Jump, you can click on that, and capture via the red button, as shown here:
If you want to capture via your phone, you can use our iOS or Android apps. Or you can record a voice memo, and upload it to Jump later using my.jumpapp.com.
Note: Depending on your firm's or broker-dealer's policies, you may not have all of these options available at this time.

I do many phone calls with clients. How do I capture those and get them into Jump?
There are a few ways to do this. If you use a VoIP service that we support, like RingCentral, you can connect that integration on your Integrations page.
If you don't use a VoIP service, we recommend using our "Join my call" feature, which lets you have Jump conference call into your phone call with your client.

How do I remove a notetaker from my Zoom meeting?
If you're the host, you can remove it as you would any other participant.
If you're not the host, you can use the live notetaker controls on the top left of my.jumpapp.com. Just click the red "x" within the live capture tile.
Note: These live notetaker controls only appear once your notetaker is active (likely right before the meeting).
How do I remove unnecessary events from my Upcoming tab in Jump?
There are a few things you can do to remove unnecessary events from the Upcoming tab. The first is to make sure you have the right calendars selected under User settings > Preferences > Calendars > Calendars to sync.
The second is to use event filters to create rules determining which events Jump pulls in from your calendar(s). You can include or exclude events based on their titles, whether you're the organizer, whether it's a Zoom event, etc.
