Who has access to this feature?

  • All Full users

The Jump Android app exists to capture in-person meetings and upload the associated audio. You can find the app listed as "Jump AI Notetaker" in the Google Play store.

Note: To access Jump functionality other than recording and uploading meeting audio, you'll need to use the web app at my.jumpapp.com.

The Android app has four pages:

  1. Home

  2. Meetings

  3. Recordings

  4. Account

Home

The Home tab shows your upcoming meetings. You can select a meeting then click the red button to start capturing audio that will be associated with this specific event.

You can also just click the button and Jump will let you capture and upload the audio. However, it won't be associated with an existing meeting event on your calendar.

If you're capturing a meeting and you receive a phone call, Jump will pause the capture until the end of that phone call / the phone stops ringing. Then, Jump will resume the recording.

Note that when you upload a meeting from the mobile app, you have the opportunity to name that audio file. Then, Jump deletes the associated recording from your phone.

Meetings

The Meetings tab shows your events for the current day and your past meetings. As with the Home tab, you can click the red button to capture and upload as a new meeting. Or, you can select an existing meeting then click the red button to associate the audio with that meeting.

Recordings

This page lets you see audio recordings that have yet to be uploaded. Files will be deleted from your phone once they've been successfully uploaded to Jump.

Before you upload an audio file, no transcript is generated, and thus Jump will not determine the meeting type and take any of the associated actions (generating notes, generating a draft follow-up email, etc.).

Account

The Account tab lets you log out of Jump and configure your notifications.

A few important items to know about the Android app:

  • You log into the Android app using the same Microsoft or Google account that you used to log into my.jumpapp.com.

    • You'll receive a login link via email

    • You should not have to log in for at least a week.

  • You can't simultaneously use the same phone to take a phone call and capture audio via the app. Instead, call on speakerphone and use the web recorder at my.jumpapp.com to capture the meeting. Or, you can use the Join my Call feature.
