The Jump iOS app exists to record in-person meetings and upload the associated audio. You can find the app as "Jump AI Notetaker" in the Google Play store.

Note: For Jump TODOs other than recording and uploading meeting audio, you'll need to use the web app at my.jumpapp.com.

The Android app has four pages:

  1. Home

  2. Meetings

  3. Recordings

  4. Account

Home

The Home tab shows your upcoming meetings. You can click on a meeting, and click the red record button to start a recording and associate it with that meeting. Or you can just click the red record button, and Jump will let you record and upload the audio, but it won't be associated with an existing meeting event on your calendar.

If you're recording a meeting, and you receive a phone call, Jump will pause the recording until the end of that phone call / the phone stops ringing. Then Jump will resume the recording.

Note that when you upload a meeting, you have the opportunity to name that audio file, and Jump deletes the associated recording from your phone.

Meetings

The Meetings tab shows your meetings for the day, and your past meetings. As with the Home tab, you can click "record" to record and upload as a new meeting, or you can click on an existing meeting name, and click record to associate the audio with that meeting.

Recordings

This page lets you see your un-uploaded audio recordings so you can go ahead and upload them. Files will be deleted from your phone once they've been successfully uploaded to Jump.

Before you upload an audio file, no transcript is generated, and thus Jump will not determine the meeting type and take any of the associated actions (generating notes, generating a draft follow-up email, etc.).

Account

The Account page lets you log out of Jump, and configure your notifications.

A few important items to know about the Android app:

  • You log into the Android app using the same Microsoft or Google account that you used to log into my.jumpapp.com.

    • You'll receive a login link via email

    • You should not have to log in for at least a week.

  • You can't simultaneously use one phone to take a phone call and record via the app-- the best way to record a phone call is to open my.jumpapp.com and record from your computer.
