You can use the Jump Android mobile app to capture in-person meetings, whether they’re scheduled on your calendar or taken ad hoc. Additionally, you can access the Join my call feature from the mobile app if you need to capture a phone call with a client.

Note: Access to the Join my call feature may be restricted by your broker-dealer or parent account.

Capturing a scheduled in-person meeting

To capture an in-person meeting that’s on your calendar, go to the Today tab and click on the specific meeting from the list.

When you’re ready to capture, click the red capture button at the bottom of the meeting page.

You can click the red square pause button if you need to temporarily stop the meeting capture.

When you’re ready to resume, click the red button again to finish your capture.

Once you’ve completed the meeting capture, click the red button to pause, title the meeting with the provided text box (optional), then select Finish Capture to submit the audio and generate the notes.

Capturing a spontaneous in-person meeting

If you need to capture an in-person meeting that’s not on your calendar, go to the Today tab, then click the red capture button at the bottom of the screen.

Alternatively, you can click + > Start Capture on the top-right of the screen to immediately start capturing.

When you’re ready to end the capture, click the red pause button, title the meeting (optional), and click Finish Capture to submit the audio for processing.

Capturing a phone call

You can also send the Jump notetaker to an active phone call using the mobile app. Go to the Today tab, click the + button on the top right of the screen, then select Join my call.

In the new window that opens, enter the phone number you’d like the Jump notetaker to call (usually, this is your own phone number), accept and merge the notetaker into your existing call.

For more information on this step, see here: How to capture a phone call with Jump.

Note: If you want to capture a phone call you’re taking on your mobile device that has the Jump app, you must use the Join my call feature. You cannot use the red New meeting capture button to capture your phone call conversation.

How to sync notes to your CRM

After capturing a meeting using the Jump notetaker, you can edit and sync the notes to your CRM directly from the mobile app. Here’s how:

  1. Go to the Meetings tab and click on the captured meeting.

  2. In the meeting page, scroll down to see the prepared meeting notes.

  3. Use the Edit button to make changes to the notes, if needed.

  4. Click on the provided automation to sync the note to your connected CRM.

Note: To make changes to your integrations or adjust your automations, you’ll need to do so from the web browser at my.jumpapp.com.
