Why it helps to connect your email and calendar to Jump

Connecting your calendar to Jump allows Jump to identify upcoming meetings and display them in the Upcoming tab.

If one of these calendar events includes a web conferencing link (Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, etc.) Jump can automatically send the notetaker to the video call.

Note: You must have the "Automatically add notetaker to upcoming meetings" setting toggled "on" for Jump to automatically attend and capture your virtual meetings. Access this feature by going to User settings > Preferences > Calendars. Learn more here.

Connecting your calendar to Jump also enables Jump to identify which client the meeting is with and generate the relevant pre-meeting prep.

If you connect Jump to your email, when Jump generates a recap email for you to send to a client, you can open that draft directly in your email client, edit it, and send it from there.

Which emails and calendars can you connect, and how do you connect them?

Jump lets you pull in calendar events from:

  • Google Calendar

  • Microsoft Outlook

  • Microsoft Exchange

  • Redtail Calendar

  • Wealthbox Calendar

For Google, Outlook, and Exchange, if you didn't connect them during the onboarding flow, you can connect them by going to User Settings > Integrations > Calendar Integrations and clicking "Connect" next to the associated calendar.

This will also let you connect Jump to the associated email.

Note: Check out this help center article if you need to connect Jump to Exchange.

For Redtail and Wealthbox, you connect to your calendar by going to User Settings > Integrations > CRM Integrations and clicking connect next to the appropriate tool.

Next steps

Once you've completed the integration, Jump will have access to your calendar. But, that won't necessarily mean Jump is pulling in everything from each of these sources. (One person can have access to multiple Google Calendars, for example.)

To configure which calendar(s) you want pulled into Jump, go to User Settings > Preferences > Calendars > Calendars to sync. Click into the dropdown to view the available calendars, select the appropriate calendar(s), then click the green Save button.
