Why do I need to connect my Redtail Calendar to Jump?

Calendars play an important role in Jump. Read more here about why they're important, and how to make the initial Redtail Calendar <> Jump connection.

How do I only include specific Redtail Calendar categories in Jump?

Redtail's calendar categories are almost like sub-calendars, so you might only want to include specific ones: "Client Review Meeting," "General Information," etc.

You can pick which categories you want to select by going here (User settings -> Preferences) and scrolling down to the calendars section, then using the calendar multi-select to choose the categories you want pulled into Jump:

Make sure to click "Save" after making your selections.

How do I only include specific Redtail Calendar types in Jump?

In Jump, Redtail Calendar types play a different role from Redtail Calendar categories.

With categories, you select which ones to pull in, as if they were different calendars.

With types, you take all of the events from the Redtail calendar categories you've selected, and you choose which ones to filter out or filter in.

As an example, imagine you said you wanted to pull in all events in the "General Information" Redtail Calendar category. Then you might choose to filter down those events even further to only include the "Client Review" type.

To learn how to set up your Redtail Calendar filters, see here.

For more on the Redtail calendar generally, including information about categories and types, see the Redtail article here.
