Overview of pre-meeting prep
Jump will generate a pre-meeting prep note for a client meeting 24 hours before a meeting.
Access pre-meeting prep by clicking into a meeting from the Upcoming tab, then navigating to the Pre-meeting prep tab.
Jump uses a structured process to generate client preparation summaries by crawling multiple data sources to build comprehensive client context. These sources include:
CRM Data: Information from your CRM integration, including objects and fields with more than 50 characters, plus predefined contact fields
Past Jump Meetings: Previous meeting notes and transcripts with the same attendees
Financial Planning Data: eMoney and RightCapital integration (when enabled)
Calendar Integration: Meeting attendees from synced Outlook or Google Calendar
If you’re not integrated with a CRM, Jump can use past meeting notes in Jump to generate the prep note instead.
What information is included in pre-meeting prep?
Jump's pre-meeting prep answers 6 standard questions based on the collected sources:
Client Goals and What Matters to Them: What the client has expressed as important and their objectives
Household: Family structure, spouse, children, ages, and relationships
Past Concerns: Previous worries or issues the client has raised
Recent Meetings: Summary of recent interactions with dates and key discussion points
Suggested Conversation Starters: AI-generated opening topics based on context
Upcoming Life Events: Future milestones or events the client has mentioned
The system prioritizes the most recent entries by date and includes specific dates when referencing CRM entries.
How to make sure Jump can generate pre-meeting prep
Here are some tips to ensure pre-meeting prep can be generated for an upcoming meeting:
1. Ensure your upcoming meetings are showing up in the Upcoming tab.
Note: Learn more about how to sync your calendar to Jump and get your meetings to pull into the Upcoming tab with this help center article.
2. Make sure the client is linked to the calendar event. Jump will check the invitees' email addresses on the event in your calendar. If it can’t find anybody, it will check the meeting title for the client's name. So, you can either:
Include the client as a guest to the event invite (using the same email address that's associated with their contact in CRM)
OR
Include the client's first and last name in the meeting title
