To get there, click on the Profile & settings icon at the bottom of the left-hand navigation panel, then select Compliance.

Join after the meeting starts - The Notetaker will join the call a specified number of minutes after the scheduled start time.
Set join time - Give the time before the meeting's scheduled start time you'd like the notetaker to join in minutes (max: 30 minutes) .

Keyboard only - to start recording, press any number on your keypad.
Keyboard or magic phrase - To start recording, press any number or say a magic phrase as announced by the notetaker.
Keyboard or conversation start - To start recording, press any number or simply start speaking.

Dial-In Verification
Verify your phone number to use dial-in Join My Call. Call the Jump Notetaker from your verified phone to start recording.
Record without host permission
Lets the notetaker capture Zoom meetings even when Zoom’s “Record to computer files” setting is off. When enabled, Jump will not use Zoom’s host recording -permission flow, so the host will not be asked to approve recording through Zoom.
3. Meeting data
Meeting Sharing
Select preferences for how your meetings are shared between other members of your firm:
Allow users to select: their meeting sharing preferences
Share meetings with Jump attendees automatically
Meeting owners review share requests
Capture & storage
Capture mode
Summary only: AI outputs without saving audio/video.
Audio & Video: store recordings alongside summaries, timestamps, and the “Explain” feature.
Storage policy
Retain audio/video and transcripts
Retain transcripts (delete audio/video)
Retain nothing (delete audio/video and transcripts)
You can also select Show transcripts on meeting page to expose transcripts to the end user when retaining transcripts on Summary only mode.
Note: If you select Retain nothing (delete audio/video and transcripts), you can set a separate deletion delay timeframe for audio/video data and for transcripts.
For example, you can choose to have all audio/video deleted after 7 days and then auto-delete transcripts after 30 days.
Additionally, you can use the provided dropdown menus to create different retention policies for specific meeting categories.
Note: Parent accounts can enable/disable child accounts' ability to change their capture mode and storage policy from this page. When enabled, child accounts can adjust their settings to be more conservative than the default parent settings. They cannot adopt a more lenient retention strategy than what the parent account has.
Meeting capture consent
Determine how Jump handles recording consent:
Automatic detection of verbal content: Jump scans transcripts for verbal consent.
Self-attestation - Confirm after: Advisors must confirm consent post-meeting.
Automatic Detection + Self Attestation: Jump analyzes the transcript to detect if consent for recording was obtained during the interaction between the advisor and client, and advisors must attest before accessing meeting notes.
Off: No consent checks.
Sync confirmation / Attestation
Require users to attest before:
Syncing notes
Syncing financial planning data
Syncing tasks
Drafting follow-up emails
Copying notes
Copying transcripts
Exporting notes as a PDF
Generating marketing posts
Capturing disclosure
Choose whether to play an audio message at the start of a captured meeting to inform participants that the session is being captured or transcribed.
Note: Zoom will automatically give a capturing disclosure if applicable, and regardless of what setting you choose.
To upload a custom disclosure message, ensure your file is an .mp3 file and navigate to Compliance > Meeting data > Capturing disclosure.
Upload the .mp3 file to the appropriate section to set up the audio disclosure for your desired meeting format(s):
Capturing disclosure file: Plays when someone starts capturing on iOS, Android, and Web Recorder.
Virtual capturing disclosure cloud file: Plays every time a participant joins a virtual meeting (Zoom, Teams, etc.).
Replay on participant join settings: determines when the capturing replays as additional participants join a meeting. Not applicable to Join My Call disclosure.
Leading: Play immediately when the first participant joins
Trailing: Wait an interval before replaying
Enable Join My Call disclosure: Upload a custom disclosure to replace the default disclosure that Jump plays when the Join My Call notetaker joins a phone call.
Default disclosure: the default disclosure provided by Jump that will play when the Join My Call notetaker joins a phone call. Uploading a custom disclosure fully replaces the default disclosure.
Join My Call disclosure cloud file: hear your current uploaded file and upload a new one.
Disclosure delay: adjust the delay (in seconds) before playing the Join My Call disclosure audio. Leaving this setting blank uses the default time.
Play recording indication tone while notetaker is active
Default tone: the default tone provided by Jump that will play at a set interval while the Join My Call notetaker is in a phone call. Uploading a custom tone fully replaces the default tone.
Join My Call tone file: hear your current uploaded file and upload a new one.
Tone interval: adjust how often the recording indicator tone plays during the call.
Disable after: adjust the number of seconds after which the tone will stop playing. Leave blank to play for the entire call.
Note: The Join My Call custom disclosure message supports a configurable delay before the audio plays. This helps firms meet compliance requirements and avoid the audio playing before calls are merged.
To adjust the configurable delay before recording starts, enter the desired amount of time (in seconds) in the "Disclosure delay" field.
Notes disclosure
Enable this setting to include a custom disclosure on notes that were generated by Jump. This disclosure remains in the note once synced to the CRM. End users are unable to remove or edit this disclosure within Jump.
Transcript redaction choices
Redaction – choose PII types to automatically redact from transcripts (e.g. account numbers, SSNs, credit cards).
Downloads – allow or block users from copying transcripts and downloading recordings.
Ability to copy the transcript or download media
Enable this setting to decide whether users can copy the transcript or download media.
On - Users will be able to copy the transcript or download media.
Off - Users will not be able to copy transcript or download media.
Email meeting transcripts to
Use this setting to decide who Jump automatically emails transcripts to after a meeting finishes processing. This will not apply to private meetings.
Pre-meeting prep retention
This setting allows you to decide how long Jump keeps the Pre-meeting Prep it generates. If you set it to delete, prep is permanently removed after the delay and can’t be recovered.
4. Email settings
Summary email content
Select what appears in Jump’s post-meeting summary emails:
No content (link only)
Note summary (truncated preview)
Full notes
Email disclaimer message
Choose whether to append a “Generated by Jump” disclaimer to all AI-drafted emails.
Email preferences
Account owners and compliance admins can manage email notification preferences for users on the account.
Note: E-mail notifications are only sent to Jump users, according to your preferences.
5. E-Comms
The E-Comms tab controls how client communications sent through Jump flow through your firm's supervision infrastructure. To get there, click on the Profile & settings icon at the bottom of the left-hand navigation panel, select Compliance, then choose the E-Comms tab.
Supervision Routing
Manage how outbound communications are routed for compliance supervision. Only account owners can modify these settings.
Archive communications at each user's connected email – On by default. Jump's outbound emails flow through each user's connected email, so your firm's existing email supervision captures them automatically.
Fallback archive email – For advisors without a connected email integration, Jump archives communications to this address instead. Toggle it on and enter an address to use it.
Include disclosure in outbound emails
Toggle this on to append the account's compliance disclosure to every client-facing email sent through Jump.
SMS reminder template
Toggle on Enable SMS reminder template to configure a standard SMS template for booking window reminders. When enabled, all SMS reminders from this account use this template.
6. Archive & Retention
The Archive & Retention tab lets your firm send archive emails to a central compliance inbox and set how long Smart Form data and uploaded documents are retained in Jump before they're automatically deleted.
To get there, click on the Profile & settings icon at the bottom of the left-hand navigation panel, select Compliance, then choose the Archive & Retention tab.
Compliance archive
Add one or more addresses in the Archive recipients field to send archive emails to a central compliance inbox for regulated archive events in Jump. Click Save when you're done.
Smart Forms data retention
Enter a number of days in the Retention period field to define how long Smart Form data is kept before automatic deletion. When set, form data is deleted the specified number of days after the form was created. Leave the field blank to retain Smart Form data indefinitely. Click Save when you're done.
Document data retention
Enter a number of days in the Retention period field to define how long uploaded documents are kept before automatic deletion. When set, document source files, parsed text, and previews are deleted the specified number of days after upload. Leave the field blank to retain documents indefinitely. Click Save when you're done.
Note: Retention only deletes data stored in Jump. It does not remove data that has already been sent to your CRM, planning tools, archive vendors, or other external systems. Once deleted, Smart Forms and Documents can't be recovered.
7. Attestation report
For accounts that have attestations turned on, they will see the Attestation report tab in Compliance settings.
For each meeting, Jump will track the user who gave the attestation, for what, and when.
The report can be downloaded as a CSV file using the button on the upper right of the screen.
8. Apps
The Apps tab lists the third-party applications authorized to access your Jump account via a secure (OAuth) connection. Today this is where the RedTail integration appears, for firms that use RedTail.
To get there, click Profile & settings > Compliance > Apps.
Each app card shows the data the app can access and a toggle to enable or disable it for your account. Apps provided by Jump are enabled by default; switch the toggle off to remove access account-wide.
Note: Individual users can revoke an app's access to their own data under User settings > Authorized apps, where an app appears once they've authorized it.
9. AI Associate
The AI Associate tab controls how AI Associate behaves for everyone on your account. These capabilities are off by default until you enable them. To get there, click Profile & settings > Compliance > AI Associate.
Content guardrails
Turn on a guardrail to limit how AI Associate responds to a category of advice request. When enabled, it steers the user to a licensed professional or declines to answer, depending on how the request is worded. There are currently six guardrails available (Legal, Tax, Investment, Insurance, Fiduciary, Estate), all off by default.
Integration Capabilities
Set AI Associate's access level for each type of connected integration: Email, CRM & Financial Planning, and Calendar. Each can be set to:
Off — no access
Read — read data only
Read and write — read plus take actions (send emails, create calendar events, or modify CRM/financial planning data). CRM & Financial Planning changes always require the user's approval before each modification. Read and write must be allowed if you wish to complete actions, such as syncing updates, directly from AI Associate.
Click Save when you're done.
Saving & Reverting
At the bottom of each tab you’ll find Revert and Save buttons. Click Save to apply changes across your firm, or Revert to discard any unsaved edits.
