Who has access to this feature?

  • Account owners

The Compliance settings page lets your firm centrally control access, notetaker behavior, data retention, redaction, and disclosures for all meetings captured in Jump.

To get there, click on the Profile & settings icon at the bottom of the left-hand navigation panel, then select Compliance.

1. Access restrictions

Allowed features

Choose which Jump features every user in your organization can access. Simply check or uncheck each item, then click Save. Typical options include:

  • Alternative Notification Emails – allow users to send Jump notifications to a secondary address.

  • BYO Audio – permit “Bring Your Own Audio” devices while still capturing meeting intelligence.

  • Delete Meetings – let users permanently purge outdated or sensitive meetings.

  • Dialpad, DocuSign, Dynamics, Exchange, Financial Services Cloud, Global Ask Anything, etc. – control which CRM, telephony, and AI-powered search integrations are available.

  • Many additional features on that page.

2. Notetaker settings

Notetaker attendance

  • Allow users to select – users choose which meetings to invite the Jump Notetaker to.

  • Always automatically attend users meetings – Notetaker joins every synced meeting by default.

  • Never automatically attend users meetings – Notetaker only joins when explicitly invited.

  • Allow notetaker to bypass waiting room – if enabled, the Notetaker skips lobby screens on Zoom, Teams, etc.

Notetaker media

Customize the avatar/name shown when the Notetaker:

  • Notetaker ready to capture

  • Notetaker capturing

  • Notetaker Paused

  • Notetaker Unable to capture

Drag & drop or click Select file to upload your firm’s JPG for each state, then Save.

3. Meeting data

Meeting Sharing

Select preferences for how your meetings are shared between other members of your firm:

  • Allow users to select: their meeting sharing preferences

  • Share meetings with Jump attendees automatically

  • Meeting owners review share requests

Capture & storage

  • Capture mode

    • Summary only: AI outputs without saving audio/video.

    • Audio & Video: store recordings alongside summaries, timestamps, and the “Explain” feature.

  • Storage policy

    • Retain audio/video and transcripts

    • Retain transcripts (delete audio/video)

    • Retain nothing (delete audio/video and transcripts)

Note: If you select Retain nothing (delete audio/video and transcripts), you can set a separate deletion delay timeframe for audio/video data and for transcripts.

For example, you can choose to have all audio/video deleted after 7 days and then auto-delete transcripts after 30 days.

Additionally, you can use the provided dropdown menus to create different retention policies for specific meeting categories.

Note: Parent accounts can enable/disable child accounts' ability to change their capture mode and storage policy from this page. When enabled, child accounts can adjust their settings to be more conservative than the default parent settings. They cannot adopt a more lenient retention strategy than what the parent account has.

Meeting capture consent

Determine how Jump handles recording consent:

  • Automatic detection of verbal content: Jump scans transcripts for verbal consent.

  • Self-attestation - Confirm after: Advisors must confirm consent post-meeting.

  • Automatic Detection + Self Attestation: Jump analyzes the transcript to detect if consent for recording was obtained during the interaction between the advisor and client, and advisors must attest before accessing meeting notes.

  • Off: No consent checks.

Sync confirmation / Attestation

Require users to attest before:

  • Syncing notes

  • Syncing financial planning data

  • Syncing tasks

  • Drafting follow-up emails

  • Copying notes

  • Exporting notes as a PDF

Capturing disclosure

Choose whether to play an audio message at the start of a captured meeting to inform participants that the session is being captured or transcribed.

Note: Zoom will automatically give a capturing disclosure if applicable, and regardless of what setting you choose.

To upload a custom disclosure message, ensure your file is an .mp3 file and navigate to Compliance > Meeting data > Capturing disclosure.

Upload the .mp3 file to the appropriate section to set up the audio disclosure for your desired meeting format(s):

  • Capturing disclosure file: Plays when someone starts capturing on iOS, Android, Web Recorder

  • Virtual capturing disclosure: Plays every time a participant joins a virtual meeting (Zoom, Teams, etc.)

  • Join My Call disclosure: Upload a custom disclosure to replace the default disclosure that Jump plays when the Join My Call notetaker joins a phone call

Note: The Join My Call custom disclosure message supports a configurable delay before the audio plays. This helps firms meet compliance requirements and avoid the audio playing before calls are merged.

To adjust the configurable delay before recording starts, enter the desired amount of time (in seconds) in the "Disclosure delay" field.

Notes disclosure

Enable this setting to include a custom disclosure on notes that were generated by Jump. This disclosure remains in the note once synced to the CRM. End users are unable to remove or edit this disclosure within Jump.

Transcript redaction choices

  • Redaction – choose PII types to automatically redact from transcripts (e.g. account numbers, SSNs, credit cards).

  • Downloads – allow or block users from copying transcripts and downloading recordings.

4. Email settings

Summary email content

Select what appears in Jump’s post-meeting summary emails:

  • No content (link only)

  • Note summary (truncated preview)

  • Full notes

Email disclaimer message

Choose whether to append a “Generated by Jump” disclaimer to all AI-drafted emails.

Email preferences

Account owners and compliance admins can manage email notification preferences for users on the account.

Note: E-mail notifications are only sent to Jump users, according to your preferences.

5. Attestation report

For accounts that have attestations turned on, they will see the Attestation report tab in Compliance settings.

For each meeting, Jump will track the user who gave the attestation, for what, and when.

The report can be downloaded as a CSV file using the button on the upper right of the screen.

Saving & Reverting

At the bottom of each tab you’ll find Revert and Save buttons. Click Save to apply changes across your firm, or Revert to discard any unsaved edits.
