Why you might want to reprocess a meeting

There are a few reasons you might want to reprocess a meeting:

  1. Maybe Jump guessed the wrong meeting type, so it produced notes or a recap email using a template different from the one you wanted (e.g., Jump thought it was an internal meeting when it was actually a client meeting).

  2. Maybe something does not look right. Reprocessing a meeting acts as a refresh button for note, task, and email generation. If you notice something did not populate correctly, reprocessing the meeting is a great first step. This usually fixes the majority of issues. If the issues persist, do not hesitate to reach out via the messenger on the bottom-right corner of this screen (or the bottom-right corner of my.jumpapp.com).

Here are a few other reasons you might want to reprocess a meeting:

  1. Maybe you want to test a new customized note template to see the kinds of notes / recap emails it would have generated for past meetings.

  2. Maybe you've updated the speaker names after an in-person meeting, and want the notes to reflect this. You can learn more about this here.

  3. Maybe you've added alternate email addresses so Jump doesn't think an advisor (you or a teammate) is actually a client. You can learn more about this here.

Note: Reprocessing a meeting will refresh the meeting notes, meaning the original copy will no longer be available. If you'd like to keep a copy of the original version, make sure to copy and paste them into a separate document before reprocessing the meeting.
