Who can access this feature?

  • All Full users

Note: Depending on your firm's or broker-dealer's policies, you may not have all of these options available at this time.

If you want Jump to capture and generate notes for a call that wasn't scheduled on your calendar, you have a few different options available:

  • Send the notetaker to a last-minute virtual meeting

  • Make the notetaker start capturing an impromptu in-person meeting with your computer/Jump mobile app

  • Have the notetaker join an ad-hoc phone call

  • Capture the in-person meeting using the voice memo app on your phone (and upload to Jump later)

Let's walk through each of these options, which are accessible from the green + New meeting button (except for options using your mobile device).

Afterward, you'll be able to access the meeting and notes from the AI-processed tab.

Send notetaker to a last-minute virtual meeting

  1. Select Send notetaker to meeting from the dropdown.

  2. Enter the virtual meeting URL to the pop-up window that appears.

  3. Select the green Send notetaker button.

  4. You'll see the Jump notetaker appear in your virtual meeting within a few moments.

  5. End the call as normal, and the notes will process automatically.

Capture an in-person meeting now from the web browser

  1. Select Capture meeting now from the dropdown.

  2. You'll see a 3-second countdown before the notetaker begins to capture.

  3. Hit the red button to stop/resume the capture.

  4. Click the green Submit button to have Jump process the meeting notes.

Capture an in-person meeting now from the Jump mobile app

  1. Open the Jump mobile app for iOS or Android

  2. Click the red button at the bottom of the screen to begin the capture.

  3. Click the red button again to pause/resume the capture.

  4. Name the meeting and click Submit Recording to process the notes.

Use the Join my Call feature for an ad-hoc phone call

  1. Select Join my call from the dropdown.

  2. In the pop-up that appears, enter the phone number you want the Jump notetaker to call then click the green button with the phone on it.

  3. Answer and merge the incoming call with your existing call.

  4. End the call as normal, and the notes will automatically be processed.
