How to capture in-person meetings with your own recording app

Record in person with any app you like and upload the audio to Jump

Note: Depending on your firm's or broker-dealer's policies, you may not have all of these options available at this time.

When you’re meeting in person, you can record audio using any recording app on any device and then upload the audio to Jump for AI processing.

This guide covers two ways to upload your recording:

  1. Upload from your phone using the Jump mobile app (iOS or Android)

  2. Upload from your computer using my.jumpapp.com (no mobile app required)



Record with any app and upload using the Jump mobile app

Best for: Uploading immediately from your phone after the meeting
Requires: Jump mobile app installed (iOS Jump app or Android Jump app)

Step 1: Record the meeting

Use your preferred recording app to capture the meeting audio. For example, Apple’s built-in Voice Memos (see screenshots below) or Google Recorder on Android.

Step 2: Share the recording to Jump

Once your meeting is recorded:

  1. Open your recording in your recording app

  2. Click the three-dot menu


  3. Tap Share (or Send / Export)

  4. Choose Jump from the share menu

  5. In Jump, optionally give the meeting a name (you can edit it later)

  6. Tap Submit

Best for: Uploading from a browser
Requires: Access to my.jumpapp.com

Step 1: Record the meeting

Record the meeting using any recording app or device.

Step 2: Upload the audio through your browser

  1. Open a browser and go to my.jumpapp.com
    (You can do this on a computer, phone, or tablet.)

  2. Navigate to MeetingsAll past

  3. Open the meeting you want to attach audio to

  4. Click the Meeting notes tab

  5. Click Select file

  6. Choose your audio file and upload

Note: If this meeting isn’t on your calendar (or doesn’t already exist in Jump), click New MeetingUpload meeting audio.
