To help you prepare for upcoming client meetings, Jump will pull information about your client from your customer relationship management software (CRM) connected to Jump and format that information into a pre-meeting prep note.

That note will be available in the Pre-meeting prep tab of the relevant client meeting page in Jump.

Jump searches in your CRM for the answers to specific questions about your client.

Where does Jump get my contact's information in my CRM?

If your CRM is connected to Jump, Jump pulls information from the notes attached to your client in your CRM: contacts, accounts, opportunities, events, activities, and important information.

Jump can also pull in custom objects from your CRM. Please reach out to a product specialist via the Help chat if you are concerned that information from your custom objects is not being captured in the pre-meeting prep notes.

If your CRM is not connected to Jump, Jump will search for past meeting notes in Jump that are related to your client.

Jump does not currently pull pre-meeting prep from emails, calendar events, PDFs, or links to documents.

How can I generate pre-meeting prep on demand?

To learn how to generate pre-meeting prep on demand, please visit the article "How to generate pre-meeting prep on demand."

My pre-meeting prep was not generated automatically. How can I get it to generate without manually generating it?

Pre-meeting prep notes are set by default to generate 24 hours before a client meeting, so if pre-meeting prep has not been generated for a client meeting, it may be that the notes will generate at that time.

If you want to change when pre-meeting prep notes are automatically generated, please visit the article "How to automatically generate pre-meeting notes at your preferred time."

Jump thinks my co-advisor or assistant is a client. How do I get it to stop generating pre-meeting prep for that person?

You can alert Jump that particular email addresses belong to people who are not clients but attend your meetings regularly.

To do this, go to User settings. Click on the Preferences tab.

In the "Alternate emails" section of the Preferences tab, enter the email addresses of the individuals you do not want to be identified as clients.

Click on the green Save button in that section to save your changes.

When Jump processes meetings and produces notes, it will now be able to identify that participants who have email addresses in the "Alternate emails" section are not clients.

My pre-meeting prep was generated for the wrong contact or wasn't generated. How do I generate it for the right contact?

If your pre-meeting prep notes are generated for an unintended contact, you can manually regenerate pre-meeting prep by clicking on the "Regenerate for different contacts" button in that meeting page.

A pop-up window will appear. Select the contacts for whom you want to generate pre-meeting prep.

The newly created pre-meeting prep will be available on the Pre-meeting prep tab.

My pre-meeting prep failed to generate. How do I generate it for the right contact?

Sometimes Jump will not be able to identify the correct contact for pre-meeting prep if the meeting title does not include the customer's full name as it appears in your CRM or the calendar event does not include their email address.

If you see a message in the Pre-meeting prep tab that says, "Couldn't generate meeting prep," you can try regenerating the pre-meeting prep notes manually.

In the "Couldn't generate meeting prep" box, in the "Search for contacts" field, you can select the intended contact from the drop-down menu or search for them by typing their name.

Then select the green Try again button.

If pre-meeting prep does not successfully generate, please reach out to the product specialists in the Help chat and they can help troubleshoot.

My pre-meeting prep was generated for the right contact but pulled in information for another contact in my CRM. How do I get the right notes?

In some cases, pre-meeting prep will find referral information in your CRM and pull in the data for that contact as well.

Please reach out to the product specialists via the Help chat if this is the case for one of your pre-meeting prep notes. We can help identify which fields are connected between the contacts and instruct Jump to avoid the particular connecting field.

My pre-meeting prep is not pulling in enough information about my client. How do I get the information I see in my CRM?

In cases where your pre-meeting prep notes do not pull in as much information as expected about your client, please reach out to the product specialist team in the Help chat. We can help identify custom objects in your CRM, where that information is stored, that we may be able to pull into Jump.

Can I customize my pre-meeting prep notes?

You can currently customize your notes to a certain extent! See "How to access and edit the automation for pre-meeting prep notes" for more information.
