Who can use this feature?
Full users
If you use Zoom Phone as your VoIP service, you can integrate your Zoom account with Jump to automatically process and take notes from these calls.
For more information about the Jump <> Zoom integration, check out this guide: “How to configure Zoom and connect it to Jump.”
Note: Account owners in Jump must enable the Zoom Phone integration by going to the Compliance tab and updating their Allowed Features list to include Zoom Phone.
If the Allowed Features section is locked, this setting is controlled by your parent account.
Reach out to [email protected] if you have questions about enabling this feature or need help adjusting your settings.
How to connect with Zoom Phone
There is no separate integration for Zoom Phone within Jump — it's tied to your standard Zoom integration. Here’s how to connect Zoom with Jump:
If you have not yet connected Zoom to Jump (new users)
Log in to your Jump account at https://my.jumpapp.com/login.
Navigate to User settings > Integrations > + Add an integration.
Click on the Conferencing tab and select the Zoom tile.
Click the Add integration button.
Log in to the Zoom account that you want to connect to Jump.
If the connection was successful, you will see Zoom listed under your list of Active integrations.
If you have already connected Zoom to Jump (existing users)
If you connected your Zoom account to Jump before the integration with Zoom Phone was supported, you will need to reauthorize your Zoom connection. This will provide the necessary permissions for Jump to access Zoom Phone calls.
Here’s how to reauthorize your connection:
Go to User settings > Integrations.
Under the Meeting Integrations section, find Zoom and click the Disconnect button.
Refresh the page, then click the Connect button on the Zoom tile.
You'll be redirected to Zoom's authorization page.
Review and accept the permissions (you'll see the new "Read phone call recordings" permission).
Click Authorize.
You'll be redirected back to Jump with your connection restored.
Note: Jump users need their own unique log-in to Zoom in order to connect the two accounts. Multiple Jump users are not able to able to connect with the same Zoom account. For specific information on setting up Zoom Phone, check out these Zoom resources: Settings and Configuration for Zoom Phone.
How to capture a Zoom Phone call with Jump
Jump supports two ways to capture your Zoom Phone calls:
Option 1: Manual capturing (ad hoc)
The ad hoc method gives you full control over which calls to record:
During any Zoom Phone call, click the Record button on your Zoom Phone interface to start capturing.
When the call ends, Jump automatically receives and processes the audio.
The call appears in Jump in your AI-processed tab within 2-3 minutes.
Setup Required:
Your Zoom Admin must ensure these settings are enabled:
Account Management > Account Settings > Recording & Transcript > Record to Computer Files = ENABLED
Account Management > Account Settings > Zoom Phone > Ad Hoc Call Recording = ENABLED
Option 2: Automatic capturing
The automatic option is perfect for teams who want comprehensive call documentation without manual steps. With this option:
All your Zoom Phone calls are automatically captured (inbound and/or outbound based on your preferences)
Jump receives and processes audio from each call after it ends
Notes from all Zoom Phone calls will appear in Jump in your AI-processed tab
No need to remember to click Record - it just works!
Setup Required:
Your Zoom Admin must ensure these settings are enabled:
Navigate to: Admin > Phone System Management > Users & Rooms.
Find your user account and click your name.
Click the Policy tab.
Add your user as an Access Member with Download Permissions.
Click Save.
Note: If you turn on Automatic Call Recording from Admin > Phone System Management > Users & Rooms > User Name > Policy, it will OVERRIDE whatever setting is in Admin > Account Management > Account Settings > Phone Tab for Automatic Call Recording.
For more information, read this Zoom help doc: "Managing Zoom Phone automatic call recording settings."
Note: If Zoom Phone processing isn't working, it may be because your organization hasn't approved this product yet. If you're experiencing issues, please reach out to your account owner or IT administrator to verify if Zoom Phone functionality is allowed within your organization's Zoom settings.
Turning off the audio notification for Zoom Phone calls
You may want to turn off the audio notification that Zoom makes at the start of call. The steps to do so depends on whether you have Automatic or Ad Hoc recording on.
For Automatic Call Recording
Go to Admin > Phone System Management > Users & Rooms > Automatic Call Recording > Audio Notifications > Manage.
In the window that opens, uncheck the setting that says, "Play a prompt to call participants when the recording has started."
For Ad Hoc Call Recording
Go to Admin > Phone System Management > Users & Rooms > Ad Hoc Call Recording > Audio Notifications > Manage.
In the window that appears, uncheck the setting that says, "Play a prompt to call participants when the recording has started." You may also want to uncheck the setting below it, which says, "Play a prompt when the recording is stopped."
