Written by Nathan Tailleur

Who has access to this feature?

  • Account owners

  • Users with Usage Reports permission

Usage reports show how your firm is using Jump, from meetings held to notes synced to your CRM. Usage reports can be used to:

  • Monitor user activity and engagement

  • Measure platform adoption and return on investment (ROI)

  • Understand the types of meetings your advisors are hosting

  • See how much time Jump saves your team

  • Track how many advisors sync notes and tasks to your CRM

What are usage reports?

Usage reports have two tabs:

  • Usage report: Charts and totals that show Adoption metrics, Productivity metrics, and CRM adoption across your firm.

  • Usage table: Review per-user usage totals across meetings, CRM syncs, and pre-meeting prep. Inactive users are team members who have not had any page views or mobile usage in the selected time window.

Both tabs share the same filters, so you can narrow the data once and switch between views.

Where to find usage reports

  1. In Jump, go to Profile & settings > Reports.

  2. Use the Usage report and Usage table toggle at the top of the page to switch tabs.

How to filter your usage reports

Filters let you focus on a specific group of users, such as advisors who haven’t used Jump recently or users on a specific product. Filters apply to both tabs.

  1. Click a filter at the top of the page.

  2. Select the options you want to include.

The data updates to match your selections.

Filter types in Usage reports

Tip: Hover over the info icon next to any filter to see what it does.

Available filters:

  • Past 30 days: Sets the reporting period for the usage and activity figures.

  • Product: Shows only users who have at least one of the selected products.

  • License status:

    • Active: users who currently hold a license.

    • Deactivated: users whose license has been removed.

  • Activity status:

    • Active: used Jump on web or mobile during the selected period.

    • Inactive: no usage in that period.

  • Role: The role each user chose for themselves: Advisor or Assistant.

  • All users: Adds the selected users to the report. Combined with Teams, it covers both these users and the members of the selected teams.

  • All accounts: Filter by child accounts. This filter only appears for parent accounts with child accounts under them.

  • Teams: Adds all members of the selected teams. Combined with Users, it covers both the members and the selected users.

  • All categories: Limits meeting and CRM sync counts to the selected categories. Other metrics are not affected.

How to read the Usage report tab

The Usage report tab gives you a high-level view of how your firm uses Jump. Use it to spot trends over time and see where adoption is strong or needs attention.

Adoption metrics

Adoption metrics show “the core usage signals that show how often Jump is being adopted across the selected seats.” This section includes:

  • Overall counts: Total meetings, Total active users, Hours of meetings held, and Actions taken.

  • Jump activity over time: A chart of Jump activity by your team over time.

  • Meetings held: Count of meetings held over time by your team.

  • Meeting type: What types of meetings your advisors held.

How to use the Usage table tab

The Usage table shows usage totals for each user, so you can see exactly who is using Jump and how. Review per-user usage totals across meetings, CRM syncs, and pre-meeting prep. Inactive users are team members who have not had any page views or mobile usage in the selected time window.

Each user’s row shows their account, products, teams, and user tags, along with their usage totals.

If your firm has a parent account with child accounts under it, the Usage table is split into two sections:

  • Accounts: Usage totals for each child account.

  • Users: Usage totals for each user across all accounts.

Click a section name to expand or collapse it. If a section has a lot of rows, collapse it to get straight to the other one.

Tips for using usage reports

  • Find users who need training: Filter Activity status to Inactive to see who hasn’t used Jump in the selected time window, then share training resources with them.

  • Check CRM habits: Use the CRM adoption section to find advisors who aren’t syncing notes or tasks, and remind them that Jump can send meeting notes to your CRM automatically.

  • Watch trends over time: Check your reports regularly. Over time, you’ll see patterns in meeting types and time saved that point to opportunities for improvement.
