To connect Jump to RingCentral, go to the Integrations page, and click "Connect":

Once you've connected Jump to RingCentral, Jump will automatically pull in all RingCentral calls that you record. We believe this is true no matter how you're recording those RingCentral calls (as a normal phone call, through the iPhone app, or through the desktop app).

To record a call in RingCentral, you first have to make sure that you've enabled either on-demand call recording (for recording calls on a case-by-case basis) or automatic call recording (for recording and pulling into Jump all of your calls).

To enable on-demand call recording, follow these instructions. On a phone call, you'll have to press "star" and then "9" to start a given recording.

To enable automatic call recording, follow these instructions.


One pitfall we've seen: Even if you've enabled automatic call recording, you may need to go and make sure that recording is permitted for all extensions.

You do this by clicking "Edit" under "Extensions to Record":

Then make sure that "Inbound" and "Outbound" are selected for each of these:
