How to Use Jump Coach

Jump Coach reviews your meetings and provides personalized coaching to help you build on strengths and improve future client conversations.

What is Jump Coach?

Jump Coach provides coaching that can be accessed in two locations within Jump:

  • Coach & Insights: Review coaching for an individual meeting.

  • Insights > Coaching: Review themes and progress across multiple meetings.


How to enable Jump Coach

Firm admins can enable Jump Coach for their organization.

  1. In Jump, navigate to Profile & Settings > Compliance Settings > Access Restrictions.

  2. Scroll to Jump Features and ensure Jump Coach is checked.

  3. Click Save.

Note: If your firm has disabled Jump features in the past, Jump Coach may be turned off by default. Check this setting if users cannot access coaching.


How to review coaching for a meeting

After a meeting, you can review important details like talk ratio, what went well in your meeting, and areas for improvement. To do this:

  1. In Jump, click Meetings and open an AI-processed meeting.

  2. In the After the meeting panel, select Coach & Insights.

  3. Review the Jump Coach section.

The meeting-level coaching may include:

  • Talk ratio: How much you spoke compared with the client and whether the balance fit the meeting.

  • Empathy & tone: Moments when you built rapport or reassured the client.

  • What went well: Effective moments from the conversation.

  • How it could be improved: Suggestions to use in future conversations.

  • Other questions you could be asking: Suggested follow-up questions based on the meeting.

You can also review supporting details, including talk time, sentiment, meeting duration, and keyword tracking.


How to review coaching across multiple meetings

Jump Coach will track your progress over the course of multiple meetings to help you gain a better understanding of how you are improving over time by providing insights into your client discussions. To see these insights:

  1. In Jump, navigate to Insights > Coaching.

  2. Review Your personalized Coaching.

The Coaching page includes:

  • Areas of improvement: Patterns found across your recent meetings.

  • Recommendations: Specific actions to try in an upcoming meeting.

  • Follow-up: Progress labels such as New, Unchanged, In progress, or Improved.

  • Summary: An overview of your coaching results.

  • Strengths: Behaviors you demonstrate consistently.

  • Growth areas: Skills you are currently developing.


Tips for using Jump Coach

  • Review Coach & Insights soon after a meeting while the conversation is still fresh.

  • Check Insights > Coaching regularly to track your progress.

  • Continue processing meetings in Jump to build a more complete coaching history.


FAQ

Why can't I see Jump Coach & Insights?

Ask a firm admin to confirm that Jump Coach is enabled under Compliance Settings > Access Restrictions > Jump Features. Your account must also be eligible for Jump Coach.

Can I customize what Jump Coach focuses on?

Not currently. Jump Coach uses Jump's standard coaching criteria. This feature is coming soon.

Does Jump Coach work on past meetings?

Coaching is generated as meetings are processed after the feature is enabled. The Coaching page uses meetings that have coaching results.
