What the Schwab Integration Does
The Jump integration with Schwab brings custodian data directly into your pre-meeting prep, allowing you to:
View account alerts (e.g., Required Minimum Distributions, account activity notifications)
See request statuses (e.g., account openings, address changes, asset transfers)
Access beneficiary information for client accounts (primary/contingent, percentages, relationships)
Automatically link Schwab clients to your Jump contacts
How to connect Schwab to Jump
Navigate to Profile & Settings > User Settings > Integrations in Jump.
Click + Add an integration.
Find Schwab under the Custodian category.
Click Add Integration.
You'll be redirected to Schwab to authorize the connection.
Once authorized, Jump will automatically import your Schwab clients and link them to existing Jump contacts where email addresses match.
How to use the Schwab integration in pre-meeting prep
You can incorporate Schwab information into your pre-meeting prep notes with these steps:
Go to Profile & settings > User settings > Templates.
Select your desired Meeting Prep template from the list.
In the template editor, click on the Default Sources tile on the left and locate the Schwab field.
Here, select the specific Schwab objects that you would like to make available to Jump for generating pre-meeting prep. (e.g., Alert, Status, Beneficiaries).
Within the meeting prep template, you can add an Instructions block that tells Jump what to do with the Schwab information.
Use the Sources dropdown on the bottom left corner of the Instructions block to further specify the Schwab objects you'd like to be used in this block.
Throughout the prep template, you can also use the "@" symbol to pull in specific variables from your connected Schwab account.

Beneficiaries: Primary and contingent beneficiaries, percentages/fractions, and relationships for client accounts
How does Jump link Schwab clients to my contacts?
Jump automatically links Schwab clients to existing Jump contacts using email address matching. If the email addresses match, the Schwab client will be tied to your Jump contact. If there's no match, the Schwab client won't be automatically linked.
