With Jump Onboard, users can use previously collected data Jump has access to and open an account alongside data collected real time in a meeting. To do this:

  1. Navigate to the meeting you'd like to open the account from. This can be before the meeting or during the meeting. Then, click Open accounts.

  2. On the next screen, click Add accounts.

  3. Select who the account will be on behalf of and the Custodian.

  4. Select your preferred delivery method in the Delivery method section.

Opening the account with Schwab Digital Onboarding delivery method:

  1. Choose the type of account you will be opening and click Continue.

  2. In the Advisor Documents Panel, upload Additional Documents to include supporting materials or agreements with the account application, and choose whether clients should sign, acknowledge, or simply receive each document for reference. Jump will include the information with the account envelope.

Note: Additional Documents are available only for Schwab Digital Onboarding. For Schwab or Fidelity workflows using Docusign, advisors can add additional firm documents directly in Docusign after Jump drafts the envelope at the end of the account-opening flow.

  3. In the Sources screen, choose applicable pre-existing sources with data to add to the account. You can add from meetings, documents, and Smart Forms. Information from within your connected CRM will be included as well. Then, click Continue.

  4. Jump will auto-populate relevant fields in the account with information from your selected sources and documents. The bar at the top of the screen will show you your progress on required fields necessary to open the account.

  5. Clicking Review & Validate will quickly show you all missing information you must collect to open the account, even while still in the meeting.

  6. To collect the necessary remaining information in the meeting, click the Back button on the Open accounts screen.

  7. You'll see the drafted account in the Open accounts section of the Meeting Details page.

  8. When in the meeting, return to the drafted account by clicking Open accounts in the meeting details page again and selecting the account.

  9. Click Fill out live in the Open accounts screen to continue filling out required details to open the account.

  10. As the client gives you the necessary information to open the account while in the meeting, their responses will be auto-filled in the account alongside a timestamp telling you what moment of the meeting the information came from should you need to review it later.

  11. When you've gathered all necessary information, click Review & Validate.

  12. In the Review and Validate panel that appears, click Send to client to complete the process.

Opening the account with DocuSign delivery method:

  1. Follow the same process as the above steps until the Review & Validate panel. In the Review & Validate panel, select Continue.

  2. If you'd like to add any feature forms at this point, click Configure forms. If not, simply click Continue.

  3. Click Submit to draft the DocuSign envelope.

  4. To open up the draft in DocuSign, click the link in the SSO section of the document.
