Who can integrate with SharePoint?
Full users
Lite users
Many advisors store critical artifacts in SharePoint, including:
Meeting notes
Financial plans
Estate documents
Compliance files
Jump’s SharePoint integration allows users to push a Jump meeting note as a PDF directly to the correct SharePoint folder after a captured meeting.
This helps streamline the post-meeting workflow, keeping advisors from needing to download Jump meeting notes as a PDF and re-upload them to the correct SharePoint folder each time.
How to integrate Jump with SharePoint
Are you a new user?
Create a Jump account at https://my.jumpapp.com/signup.
While onboarding, choose SharePoint in the Document Management step and connect via OAuth.
Are you an existing user?
Log into Jump at https://my.jumpapp.com/.
Go to Profile & settings > User settings > Integrations > + Add an integration.
In the window that opens, click on the Document Management tab.
Select the SharePoint tile and click Add integration to sign in via OAuth.
Existing Jump users who have already connected to Microsoft will need to request additional scopes from their Microsoft admin to complete the SharePoint integration. This includes the following permissions:
Sites.ReadWrite.All
Files.ReadWrite.All
If you are your firm’s Microsoft admin, a window will appear where you can consent to these requirements after initiating the integration.
Click the box next to “Consent on behalf of your organization”, then click Accept to complete the integration. This is a one-time consent request, and will grant these permissions to all users under the same tenant.
How to save a meeting note to SharePoint
Setting up the SharePoint automation
After integrating with SharePoint, Jump will automatically create a “Sync Meeting Note to SharePoint” action. To adjust which meetings this is applied to and the default folder destination, follow these steps:
Go to Profile & settings > User settings > Automations > Do this…
Click on the Sync Meeting Note to SharePoint action.
In the new window that opens, click Change Folder to adjust the default folder that meeting notes will sync to when using this automation.
In the Events this applies to field, use the dropdown to select the meeting type(s) this automation should appear for.
Using the SharePoint automation
Follow these steps to sync the PDF of a meeting note to SharePoint after capturing a meeting with Jump.
Go to Meetings > AI-Processed.
Select the desired meeting from the list.
Go to the Automations tab towards the right side of the screen.
Click the tile that says Sync to SharePoint.
The picker will show your default site and folder, if you’ve selected one. In this window, you can also search and select another folder destination if needed.
