Scorecards are a great way to get insight into what is happening in meetings at your firm and identify possible coaching opportunities.

Scorecards can help you to identify coaching opportunities or help you spot trends across your entire organization that you haven’t been able to quantify yet. It’s like taking a ride along into every meeting across your organization.

Jump will review your meetings and give them a grade based on the criteria that you provide. You can start with one of Jump’s out of the box templates or build your own from scratch.

Where to find scorecards

Find scorecards by clicking on the Insights tab in the bottom left-hand corner of my.jumpapp.com.

Click on the Scorecards tab to view existing scorecards and create new ones.

Creating a scorecard

Create a new scorecard by clicking on the Create new Scorecard button on the top right of the Insights page.

Here is where you build out your scorecard.

For each new scorecard, use the left-hand panel to:

  • Give it a title (Click into "New Scorecard" to type your desired title).

  • Define the Scope:

    • Select which Meeting type categories the scorecard applies to.

    • Select which Users & teams should have access to the scorecard.

  • Adjust the Presentation of the score.

  • Configure Visibility of the scorecard on the meeting page (whether it's visible to account owners and/or meeting owners).

Adding scores

Add the scores you want Jump to grade on by clicking the + Add Score button.

This will open an editing window, where you can provide the Score name, Score description, Grading Method, and criteria for each score.

Grading Method

You can decide whether you want the scorecard to be pass/fail, show a cumulative sum, or show a cumulative average across all your scores and criteria.

Criteria

Criteria is what the AI system uses as its standard of what score to provide. It’s the most important element to provide when building a scorecard, as it’s how Jump understands exactly what constitutes a high score.

Each score can have as many criteria as you would like. Best practice is to describe what a high score would look like for your score. For example, if the “Score” was for emotional intelligence (EQ) skills, some example criteria might be

  • The advisor thoughtfully listened to the client and addressed their concerns.

  • The advisor didn’t dominate the meeting and spoke less than the client.

  • The advisor asked how the client was doing before immediately getting started with an agenda.

The more descriptive you are with the criteria, the better Jump will be at giving it a standard score.

When finished building your scorecard, click the green Save button, and your scorecard will be saved on the account.

How to use scorecards

The scorecard will be automatically applied to all meetings within the given meeting type categories you assigned it to.

To view the scorecard for a captured meeting, go to Meetings > AI-Processed, and click on a specific meeting.

In the right-hand panel, click on the Scorecards icon to view all the scorecards applied to the meeting.

From this tab, you can view scores at a glance. Click on the Show details dropdown to view additional details for a given scorecard.

Who can create and use scorecards?
