Note: To learn about how and why to connect your CRM to Jump, see here.

After a meeting has been captured by the Jump notetaker, Jump will automatically generate meeting notes using the template applied to the detected meeting type.

The AI output you see is not set in stone. You can edit the notes in Jump before syncing them to your CRM.

Remember, syncing notes to your CRM requires a manual action, ensuring that you decide when the information is shared.

How to edit your meeting notes

Go to Meetings > AI-processed and click on your desired meeting. Access the meeting notes by clicking into the Meeting notes tab.

This image shows the meeting details page, specifically the "Meeting notes" section under the "After the meeting" tab. There is a red outline surrounding the meeting notes tab so that readers know where to find this section.

You can edit the notes by clicking on the Edit button in the top right corner above the meeting notes.

There is a red outline surrounding the "Edit" button for editing meeting notes within the meeting details page. This image shows Jump users how to edit their meeting notes.

Jump will open an editing window where you can make your desired adjustments to the note.

This image depicts the edit window where Jump users can make adjustments to their meeting notes before saving or syncing the notes to their connected CRM integration.

Tip: Use the Find & Replace feature in the editing window to update spelling or word choice throughout the entire note.

This image highlights the "Find..." and the "Replace with...." buttons which can be used for quick edits. This image is especially useful for users who may have found that a client's name was mis spelled throughout the meeting notes, etc.

If you have a connected CRM you’ll see the Review & sync button in this window. Click this to fill out required fields and sync the edited notes to your CRM.

This is an image highlighting the "Review & sync" button which will be displayed at the bottom of the meeting notes editor window if the Jump user has a connected CRM.

If you're not ready to sync, simply click the green Done button. If you don't have a connected CRM, you'll see a green Save button instead.

How to sync notes to your CRM

If you don't need to edit the note, you can jump right to the review & sync window.

There are two different ways to access this window:

  1. By clicking on the meeting note automation tab in the left-hand navigation bar. It will say something like “Update Event” or “Add note to Contact.” (This tab reflects the title of your meeting note automation, and will vary by user.)

This image shows the "Add note to contact" automation under the "After the meeting" section of the meeting details page on Jump. There is a SalesForce logo indicating that the destination to sync notes lives within SalesForce. This automation would be used to sync a Jump user's notes to their connected CRM integration, which in the case of this image, is SalesForce.

  2. By clicking on the Meeting notes tab in the left-hand navigation bar, and then clicking the Sync button in the top right corner of the page.

This image shows the "Sync" button for meeting notes, including the blue SalesForce logo. This is located next to the edit button at the top right side of the meeting details page, and is used to sync meeting notes to a Jump user's connected CRM integration.

This will open a modal where you can confirm or select the relevant record to sync the note to (the contact, account, etc.).

When a meeting is processed, Jump automatically pre-selects matching CRM contacts based on calendar attendees. If attendee email addresses match contacts in the CRM, those contacts are auto-selected.

You can then adjust or edit the notes as needed. Once you’ve made your selections and filled out the required fields, you can sync the note to your CRM by clicking the Sync to [CRM] button.

This image shows a green "Sync to Salesforce" button, as well as the vertical three-dot kebab to the right side of the green button.

Note: Action items are managed in a unified table across meetings. Learn more about Unified Action Items.

What if I'm not seeing an option to sync to my CRM?

If you're not seeing an option to sync the note to your CRM, this probably means you connected your CRM to Jump after you had already gone through the onboarding process and received your default note templates.

Another reason could be that the meeting was classified incorrectly. For example, if Jump identifies the meeting as a COI (Center of Influence) meeting instead of a Client meeting, syncing to your CRM may not be available by default. In this case, you should reprocess your meeting as the correct and intended meeting type.

An additional reason could be that you do not have your note syncing automation applied to the correct meeting type. Learn how to edit your automations and apply them to different meeting types here.

If you need more help, reach out to the Jump support team by going to Help > Chat with support and we can adjust your automations accordingly.

Once these changes are made, you'll then need to reprocess any past meetings to generate the correct automation for note-syncing to your CRM.

What if I want to sync to a different object than the one Jump is presenting?

You can adjust which object in your CRM your note is syncing to. Here are the steps to do so:

  1. Go to Profile & settings > User settings > Automations

  2. Scroll down to the relevant action (e.g., "Add note to contact"), and click on it

This image depicts an "Add note to contact" automation with the "Create record" as the automation type, and RedTail as the destination. This is located in the automations section of user settings within Jump.

  3. Click next to the Parent record types field to open the dropdown menu and select the record type in your CRM that you'd like to sync notes to.

This image depicts the automation editing window within Jump's automations tab, specifically showing the dropdown options for the "Parent record type" field.

  4. Click the green Save and close button at the bottom of the window to save your changes.

This will automatically apply to future meetings that Jump captures and detects as the corresponding meeting type. To apply these automations to past meetings, you'll need to reprocess it to see this as an option.

Note: Jump can pull in a variety of fields from each CRM that is integrated with Jump. To view available fields for WealthBox and RedTail users, see this help article: RedTail and WealthBox CRM Objects and Fields Available to Use in Jump.
