Here's how Jump works:

  1. Jump pulls in the audio from a meeting, and generates a transcript from that audio

    1. It can get this audio by sending a notetaker to your Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet meeting, OR

    2. You can record the audio through the Jump mobile app, web app, or any recorder app, OR

    3. You can record the audio through RingCentral

  2. Jump determines the type of meeting based on the transcript

If you go to the "Settings" tab, and click on automations

You'll see your different meeting types:

Jump will guess the meeting type based on the description. You can add or delete meeting types.

  3. Jump takes specific actions based on the meeting type

    1. These can include:

      1. generating a meeting note with a particular format and giving you the option to send that note to your CRM

      2. generating tasks / cases / workflows / activities (the options depend on your CRM) and letting you sync those to your CRM

      3. generating a draft follow-up email

        and more

You can add or delete actions.

There's much more to it than this (Jump can also generate pre-meeting prep for you), but this is the fundamental architecture to keep in mind.
