Who can use this?
All users
Connect Claude to Jump and ask about your meetings, contacts, and documents in plain language — right inside Claude.
Jump's Claude connector allows Claude to connect via Model Context Protocol (MCP), giving Claude read-only access to the same Jump data you already see, so you can prep for meetings, find client details, and search your notes without leaving your Claude conversation.
What you can do
Once connected, you can ask Claude things like:
Review recent meetings — "List my most recent meetings," or "Summarize my last meeting with the Smiths, including action items."
Find a contact — "Do we have an email address for John Smith?"
Look across meetings — "When did I last meet with John Smith?" or "How many meetings have I had with the Smiths?"
Search meeting content — "Search my meetings for anything about college savings plans."
Work with documents — "What documents do I have for John Smith?" or "Summarize the most recent tax return we have on file."
Search inside documents — "Do I have any estate-plan documents that mention XYZ stock positions?"
Claude only reads your Jump data — it can't create, change, or delete anything, and it only sees what you can already see in Jump.
Before you start:
Your Jump account must have MCP Client(s) enabled. It's off by default — if tools return errors or no results, navigate to Profile & settings > Compliance > Access restrictions > Allowed Features > AI Connectors > MCP Client(s)
You'll need a Claude account (works on claude.ai and Claude Desktop). How Claude uses the data it retrieves is governed by your firm's own Claude plan and agreement with Anthropic — not by Jump. For more details, see Jump’s Privacy Policy.
How to connect to Jump’s Claude connector
In Claude, open Settings → Connectors.
Search for Jump. Then connect.
When prompted, sign in to Jump and review the read-only permissions on the authorization screen.
Click Authorize. You're connected — the Jump tools are now available in Claude.
Who controls access
Your Account Owner in Jump controls the Claude connector for the whole account, under Profile & settings > Compliance:
Access restrictions > Allowed Features > AI Connectors > MCP Client(s) — the main on/off switch for the account. This must be on for anyone to use the connector. (If your Account Owner doesn't see this option, contact [email protected] to enable it for your account.)
Apps → Claude — where an Owner can enable, disable, or fully revoke Claude's access. Claude appears here once an Owner first connects it via Claude's Connector Directory.
Both of the above criteria must be enabled for the connector to work. Turning off the MCP Client(s) allowed feature in Jump blocks access for the whole account without disconnecting anyone (and can be turned back on); revoking under Apps in Jump (Profile & settings > Compliance > Apps > Claude) fully removes access.
When a Jump Account owner first authorizes Claude, the connector becomes available to other users on the account. However, each person still signs in as themselves and only ever sees their own data. You can disconnect your own access anytime under Profile & Settings > User Settings > Authorized Apps in Jump.
Good to know
Read-only & user-scoped: Claude retrieves only what you can already access in Jump. No writing, and no cross-account access.
Data handling: once Claude retrieves Jump data into a conversation, that data is handled under your Claude plan and Anthropic's terms. If your firm is on Claude Team or Enterprise, review the details with your Claude administrator.
Troubleshooting
Tools return an error or "not enabled": the connector may be turned off for your account. An Account Owner can check Profile & Settings > Compliance Settings > Allowed features > AI Connectors > MCP Client(s) and Compliance > Apps (Claude); if the option doesn't appear at all, contact [email protected] to enable it for your account.
A different account's name appears on the authorization screen: your browser is signed into Jump as another user. Sign out of Jump, then reconnect and sign in as yourself.
Connection expired: reconnect from Claude's connector settings; Claude normally refreshes access automatically.
