Who can use this feature?

  • All users

Jump Native Contacts lets you manage your contacts directly inside Jump, whether or not you use a CRM.

Key things to know:

  • Jump can store and manage contacts even without a CRM

  • Contacts can be created manually, during meetings, or automatically from meeting attendees

  • Each contact has a detailed profile with meeting history, AI insights, and linked documents

  • If you connect a CRM, contacts sync and match by email — no duplicates

CRM contacts imported into Jump become first-class records and remain in Jump even if your CRM connection is removed.

Where to find Contacts

  1. Open Jump

  2. Navigate to Contacts in the main navigation menu

This page shows your full contact list in an A–Z rolodex format. You can:

  • Scroll alphabetically

  • Click a letter to jump to that section

  • Use the search bar to find contacts by name or email

Each contact card displays CRM badges showing which external systems (like Salesforce or Redtail) the contact is connected to.

How to use Jump Native Contacts

Create a contact manually

  1. Go to the Contacts page

  2. Click + Create Contact

  3. Enter the contact’s full name and email address

  4. Click Create contact

Jump uses the email address to prevent duplicates.

If a contact with that email already exists, Jump adds the new information to the existing profile.

Create a contact from a meeting

You can also create or link contacts while reviewing meetings.

  1. Open a meeting

  2. Click the meeting participant

  3. Choose Link to contact or Create contact

This connects the participant to their contact profile.

Note: Auto-creation of contacts from meeting attendees is an account-level setting. Email [email protected] to enable this for your account.

Import contacts from a CSV file

If you already have contacts in a spreadsheet, Jump can import them for you.

Note: Our team can bulk import contacts from a CSV file on your behalf.
Email [email protected] and share your CSV file to get started.

Understanding contact profiles

Clicking a contact opens their Contact Detail Page, which brings together everything Jump knows about that person.

How Jump contacts work with your CRM

Jump supports integrations with:

  • Salesforce

  • Redtail

  • Wealthbox

  • HubSpot

  • Microsoft Dynamics

  • SmartOffice

  • Advyzon

When a CRM is connected:

  • Contacts are imported and matched by email

  • No duplicate contacts are created

  • A single Jump contact can be linked to multiple CRM systems

Jump combines data from all sources to give you the most complete contact view.

Important behaviors:

  • CRM data always takes priority

  • Jump adds meeting insights and manual information without overwriting CRM data

  • If you disconnect your CRM, all contacts and meeting data remain in Jump

Contact visibility and team sharing

Contacts are shared across your team, meaning everyone can see the same contact list.

However, certain details may only be visible to specific users.

  • CRM data is visible only to the user who connected that CRM

  • Manually added contact details are visible to the person who created them

  • Meeting notes and AI insights follow the meeting’s access permissions

Note: By default, manually added contact information is only visible to the person who created it. Email [email protected] to enable account-wide contact sharing so all users can see all contact details.

FAQ
