What is Global Ask Anything?
Global Ask Anything (GAA) is Jump’s AI-powered assistant designed to help financial advisors get fast, intelligent answers — grounded in your firm’s client data, meetings, tasks, and CRM records.
GAA is built to:
Answer questions about your client meetings, notes, and integrated systems
Understand context from past conversations, CRM fields, and workflow metadata
Instantly surface the most relevant insights across Jump
All GAA interactions are secure, compliant, and isolated within your firm's environment. If your firm has specific compliance requirements, we're happy to configure GAA to meet them.
Where to find Global Ask Anything
Look for the GAA search bar from the Home page of Jump.
How to use Global Ask Anything
1. Click into the GAA search bar.
2. Type your question in the text field. Be specific about the client or context you're interested in for more accurate results.
3. Review the response provided by GAA, which will include relevant data from your client records, meetings, and integrated systems. Jump will provide a link to the source of the information for further review.
4. For follow-up questions, simply continue typing in the same conversation window. GAA remembers the context of your discussion.
5. To start a fresh conversation, click the green "New thread" button beneath the GAA search bar.
Frequently asked questions (FAQs)
Why does GAA also respond to unrelated or "general" questions?
Because GAA is powered by a large language model (LLM), it can answer open-ended questions beyond Jump data. This is by design to provide a flexible, helpful experience when you need information about topics like IRS limits, compliance rules, or help drafting communications.
Is GAA secure and compliant for financial advisory use?
Yes. All GAA interactions are routed through Jump's secure infrastructure with SOC 2 controls. Data is scoped only to your firm's environment, never shared outside your workspace, and isolated from other firms' data. Usage logging and query review are available upon request.
Can GAA access my client's personal information?
GAA can only access client information that you already have permission to view in Jump. It follows the same permission structure as your user account and cannot bypass any security protocols your firm has established.
Should I be concerned about asking off-topic questions?
In most cases, no. Testing the assistant or using it for general-purpose help isn't considered misuse. However, advisors should remember that GAA is an assistant—not a replacement for compliance-approved guidance—and externally-facing communication should still follow internal review processes.
